Join Takeyce for an in-person workshop with the Hyde Collection. In this 4-hour session, we will review to create beautiful mixed media autumn landscape paintings with gouache and pastels. Lessons will focus on being selective in choosing compositions, the fundamentals of design, color theory and harmony, and aerial or atmospheric perspective and its effects on elements within the autumn landscape.

Join artist and instructor Takeyce Walter as she shares her practice with the incredible medium of pastels. This mini workshop will cover the fundamentals of painting with pastels, including supplies, technique, mark making, color blending, and more. Takeyce will provide demos, and students will be provided with one-on-one feedback, reference material, and assignments to practice the techniques learned at home.
